The chalet

Benefiting from its recent reconstruction in 2018 the Chalet des Grands Bois, Les Houches, has retained much of the wood from a period farm built on the same site in 1769 by the master carpenter 'Baltazar Joseph Combe.' An original beam with a carved inscription can be found in the main living area of the chalet: testimony to the talents and craftsmanship of this carpenter.
This luxury chalet combines the the charm of period carpentry with a modern and contemporary style. Large cathedral windows offer spectacular views of the valley and surrounding peaks; a sunny 35m2 terrace can be accessed from the kitchen and garden.

Its proximity to the Kandahar world cup ski run allow guests access to the Les Houches ski area directly. In summer, the landscaped garden of 1500m2 provides a safe area for children to play and ample space for adults to relax.

The Chalet des Grands Bois is perfect for holiday rentals in Les Houches.
